On January 18, 2017 the Environmental Quality Commission adopted rule amendments to increase Title V permit fees

 

Summary

 

On January 18, 2017 the EQC adopted amendments to these rules: OAR 340-220-0030, 340-220-0040, 340-220-0050

 

The rule amendments increase Title V permit fees for invoice year 2017 by 0.80 percent based on the Bureau of Labor Statistics September 2016 consumer price index for the period of September 2015 to August 2016. Fees include:

 

 Annual base fees assessed to all Title V sources regardless of emission quantities;

 Emission fees assessed per ton of emissions from individual sources per calendar year; and

 Specific activity fees assessed when a source owner or operator modifies a permit.
