The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality is proposing amendments to its administrative rules at OAR 340.

Summary

DEQ proposes the Environmental Quality Commission approve new permanent rules to control metals emissions from colored art glass manufacturing facilities in the Portland area.

EQC adopted temporary rules on April 21, 2016 and this proposed rulemaking will make those rules permanent.

Public Participation

DEQ will accept public comments on this proposed rulemaking until 4 pm on July 29, 2016.

DEQ will hold a public hearing on this proposed rulemaking on July 19, 2016 at 6 pm. The hearing will be held at Headquarters, 10th Floor – EQC A, 811 SW 6th Avenue, Portland, OR 97204.
