The prior announcement listed the wrong day for the fiscal advisory committee meeting. The meeting will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 27, 2016.

Summary

DEQ has started a rulemaking to make the previously adopted temporary rules, to regulate the emissions of metals into the air from colored art glass manufacturers, permanent.

Stakeholder Involvement

DEQ has appointed a fiscal advisory committee to review the fiscal and economic impact related to the proposed rules. The next committee meeting will take place:

 9 a.m., Friday, May 27, 2016

DEQ Headquarters, 10th Floor, Room EQC-A, 811 SW Sixth Avenue, Portland, OR 97204

The public may attend, but is not entitled to participate in, advisory committee meetings. Later in this rulemaking proceeding DEQ will invite public comments on and will hold a public hearing about the proposed rules. At that time any member of the public may submit comments and participate in the public hearing.
