Art Glass Permanent Rules – Draft Rules for EQC Approval Posted

Summary

DEQ proposes that the Oregon Environmental Quality Commission (EQC) approve proposed permanent rules for colored art glass manufacturers (CAGMs). This proposal is based on the temporary rules adopted by EQC in April 2016, with modifications based on new information and public comment.

DEQ has posted the staff report for the proposed Art Glass Permanent Rules. The staff report contains the proposed rules, summary of comments received, DEQ’s response to comments, and the estimated fiscal impact of the proposed rules. A copy of the staff report can be found on the EQC meetings page. EQC will be taking action on the proposed rules at their Sept. 29 meeting.
