DEQ proposes rules as a continuing effort to streamline, reorganize and update Oregon’s air quality permit programs. The proposal would: • amend statewide particulate matter standards • amend pre-construction permitting program while adding flexibility for smaller businesses • address Oregon’s permitting program challenges. • update technology used to hold public hearings and meetings • make minor changes to improve implementation of the following programs: HeatSmart, clean diesel grant and loan, and gasoline dispensing facility program Contact: Jill Inahara, (503) 229-5001 | ||
