NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED AIR QUALITY RULE AMENDMENTS

The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality is proposing that the Environmental Quality Commission adopt rules incorporate Lane Regional Air Protection Agency rules for open burning into OAR 340-200-0040 as part of Oregon’s State Implementation Plan. These amendments, if adopted, will be submitted to the US Environmental Protection Agency for approval and as a revision to the State Implementation Plan, as required by the Clean Air Act.

DEQ will hold a public hearing on the proposed rule changes on January 15, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at XXX. Oral and written comments will be accepted at the hearing. Written comments may be submitted anytime to the above address, but must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on January 1X, 2013.
