Yes, that’s probably a good idea. Paul, how about:

(1) Finds that the LRAPA rules are no less strict than any rule or standard of the Commission;

(2) Approves the LRAPA rules under ORS 468A.135(2);

(3) Adopts the proposed amendment to OAR 340-200-0040 in Attachment A to incorporate the proposed rules into the Oregon Clean Air Act State Implementation Plan; and

(4) Directs DEQ to submit the SIP revision to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for approval.

Hi Larry,

For the LRAPA rules addendum, if recommendations (1) and (2) refer to LRAPA rules, should we state that in those recommendations?

Addendum to DEQ recommendation to the EQC in the staff report

DEQ recommends that the Environmental Quality Commission:

(1) Finds that the proposed rules are no less strict than any rule or standard of the Commission;

(2) Approves the proposed rules;

(3) Adopts the proposed amendment to OAR 340-200-0040 in Attachment A to incorporate the proposed rules into the Oregon Clean Air Act State Implementation Plan; and

(4) Directs DEQ to submit the proposed rules to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for approval.

Thank you.
