Richard,

DEQ’s proposal doesn’t change any requirements for service stations.

We aren’t changing regulations for businesses. What we want to do is add Lane County’s existing rules to the State Implementation Plan, which lays out our strategy for protecting air quality. Lane County last revised its rules in 2011. We’re asking the Environmental Quality Commission to expand the plan to include the Lane County rules. We do this each time Lane County revises its rules.

I think this answers your question. Let me know if I can be of more help.

Andrea: We operate a dozen convenience within Lance County. I have received several notice regarding agency rules. What does all this really mean, how will this affect my service stations ?
