Kevin,

It’s time to begin the next Diesel Grant rulemaking. Here are some things we need to cover at the front end.

· Your public notice package will be due to Andy for review in mid-Nov. Please work with Carol now to add review time and a briefing meeting to Andy’s calendar.

o Rulewriters now have a short briefing meeting with Andy before he begins his review of any rulemaking package. This should be a day or so before Andy’s review.

· I uploaded public notice documents to your SharePoint site. We save documents for this rulemaking to the new site (it’s different from the site you used for the temporary rule).

· Please review the schedule on the site.

· Maggie gave your rulemaking the code RM-DESLGRNTP. Please use this code in the subject line of emails related to the rulemaking.

· Please reserve a room, equipment and presiding officer for your Jan. 15 public hearing. Reserve a guard through Carol.

I plan on covering other details later, but this will get you started.
