Hi Meagan,

The Oct. 1, 2012 SOS Bulletin will include the Onsite septic system program (Clean Streams) Notice of Proposed Rulemaking. The proposal includes fee increases for rules under chapter 340, divisions 071 and 0140. These fees are exempt from the DAS Fee Approval processunder ORS 291.055(2)(m). DEQ anticipates taking the rulemaking package to the Environmental Quality Commission for approval on December 6, 2012.

The Proposed Rules are on DEQ’s Rules Registry in redline/strikethrough. The Fee section in About the Proposed Rules provides additional information. If you have questions about the proposed fee increase, please contact Randy Trox at 541- 687-7338.
