Rulemaking Update: Water Quality Permit Fees

On Oct. 17, 2013, the Oregon Environmental Quality Commission adopted a 2.9 percent increase of DEQ water quality permit fees to address program cost increases. The permit fee increase applies to most National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System and Water Pollution Control Facility individual and general permits, except suction dredge (permit number 700-PM), graywater (permit numbers 2401 and 2402), and small offstream mining operations (permit number 600). The permit fee increase is effective Nov. 1, 2013.

The fee increase includes the following:

Oregon Administrative Rule 340-045-0075 Tables 70A-H
