Subject: UPDATE: Conversion Technology Web document additions

Thursday, August 16 is the next meeting of the Conversion Technology Rulemaking Advisory Committee. We have just posted two new documents for the meeting on this website:

These two documents are listed in the "Information for the Meeting" section under August 16, 2012 on the Meetings page.
1) Further Proposed Rule Changes: In the proposed rule drafts dated August 3rd, there were certain areas of the rules that DEQ indicated were still being researched, plus some of the proposed fees were still listed as "to be determined." Based on DEQ's research and discussion on these issues since August 3rd, we are proposing changes and additions to those sections of the rules, plus we are proposing dollar amounts for each fee category.
2) Response to Comments from June 4th Meeting. This document discussed the issues involved with those comments from the Advisory Committee that were not implemented in these rule drafts.
DEQ will bring hard copies of these two documents to the meeting, along with copies of the proposed rule drafts from August 3rd.
