Yes, if they had a permit or registration. This is their annual compliance fee. They would pay the greater of $200, or $0.10 per ton for all solid waste they receive. It is the equivalent of composters with permits paying roughly the same compliance fee (but based on tonnage categories rather than a straight per-ton fee) for receiving clean source-separated compostables, although of course composters with registrations pay no compliance fee.

Apologies if I have asked you this before. Would any CT facility with a permit and or registration pay .10/ton regardless of feedstock type (putrescible waste or plastic flake as examples)?
