Subject: Time of sale rule making process

Importance: Normal

Hi Randy,

How is your summer? Things here have been busy, we just hosted the Devils Lake Revival and with that festival over, I can know focus on some other things. The past six weeks, I have been in event organizer mode. We had another great festival though, with awesome weather and we added a water polo match in Devils Lake, which was pretty cool. Some photos available. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.427294430645970.90673.146456028729813&type=3

Anyway, can you remind me when the rule making process is going to begin (or has it) for the changes to the onsite program in the Coastal Zone? Is the rulemaking something that staff at DEQ does or is it by volunteer committee? Were those changes expected to take effect in 2013 or 2014? In your experience are those deadlines normally met, or is it pretty normal to have to extend them? How is the inspection form going?

Here in the “City”, we are planning on meeting with Tony, the head of planning, and the City Manager to make sure that we have a solid understanding of each others roles. If we can get this solidified, then hopefully we can move forward. It’s been a slow process.

Thanks for the information.
