Stephanie, Rulemaking Final PN package for the Operator Certification program is in Rule Development folder at \\Deqhq1\rule_development It is in 2012 folder in WQ-OpCert subfolder. I have attached the Gov Delivery text. The Gov Delivery list for the mailings are, Rulemaking, Wastewater System Operator Certification Program, and Water quality permits. I don’t have any additional names for postal notification, so it will just be what you have on rulemaking mailing list. Just to confirm, the postings will be on August 21, 2012 on DEQ, · WQ program page · RM page, and · Public notices page. I think I have everything you need. After going through the necessary documents, if you have any question or need additional information please let me know. I have been asked to go to Seaside to participate in Q&A session on the day of the PN. If you have everything and my presence is not needed, I intend to make this trip. If I need to be in the office for any possible thing that may come up I will stay in office and oversee the postings. Can you tell me what I should be expecting in terms of what you need on your side? Thanks for all your help on this. Hi Genet, The 16th sounds good for getting the documents to me. The list of documents I’ll need from you are: · Rulemaking Announcement (aka Public Notice) · Proposed rule changes · Statement of Need and Fiscal and Economic Impact · Land Use Evaluation Statement · Relationship to Federal Requirements · Text to send in the GovDelivery message (Keep it brief, just a few sentences – I’ll provide a link back to the Proposed Rules page so people can get the detailed information.) I attached the list of water quality GovDelivery groups so you can see what’s available. Just so you know, my process for the 21st will be: 1. I will publish the new OpCert Rulemaking web page and documents (in the morning or whenever you want me to) 2. Elle will publish the updated Proposed Rules page 3. I will issue the public notice 4. I will send the GovDelivery message 5. I will send a postal notification to anyone we have on our hard-copy rulemaking mailing list (there are about 7 addresses) 6. Hi Stephanie, The operator certification rulemaking is scheduled to be out on public notice on Tuesday August 21, 2012. I would like to coordinate the publishing of the notice and postings for the Website, WQ program page and RM page. Since the 17th is a furlough day, I want to submit all that is needed to you by next Thursday, the 16th, that way you will have Monday and Tuesday to complete the postings. Can you let me know exactly what documents are needed from me so that I can have it all ready? Also, if you can send me the Gov Delivery list, I would like to go over the list to select/include all the appropriate category and be sure we have not left out anyone. Since this is my first time doing this, I will appreciate you giving me a heads up on what I need to know on this process so as not to miss the deadline.
