Oh, that makes sense. OK, I’ll forward that on as:

(5) Determine the concentration of pollutants in the fuel (mercury, chlorine, and/or total selected metals) in units of pounds per million Btu of each composite sample for each fuel type according to the procedures in Table 4, Fuel Analysis Requirements.

Since a table referenced within a rule without an OAR attached implies it belongs to that division, it’s safe to leave off “to this Division”.

Thanks for clarifying, Jerry!

Our Table 4 is Table 6 in the underlying federal rule. I just forgot to make the correction when I pulled the language into our rules. In addition, to come up with the concentration in lbs/MMBtu, you would use #6 and #7 in Table 4.

Ok, so you would prefer to refer to the entire table rather than the specific line #6 of table 4 that determines the concentration of pollution (mercury) in the fuel? I only want to be sure so we don’t have to send a correction on a correction and Table 4 covers entire fuel analysis requirements, while this specific rule 228-0639(5) seems to refer specifically to line #6.

Would you mind triple checking? Sorry…

It should be "Table 4 to this Division".

I think it should say Table 4 to this division, but I would have to verify. It may take me a while to track down the federal rule that was used for this rule.

Good afternoon, Jerry-

Under OAR 340-228-0639(5), Table 6 is referenced. I cannot locate a Table 6 and I think this actually refers to line #6 on Table 4. Would you mind reviewing this please and confirming this for me please before I send off for an administrative correction?

If this is a mistake, is the following wording acceptable:

(5) Determine the concentration of pollutants in the fuel (mercury, chlorine, and/or total selected metals) in units of pounds per million Btu of each composite sample for each fuel type according to the procedures in Table 4, 6 to this subpart 6, Fuel Analysis Requirements.

Please let me know if this is ok or make any revisions.

Thanks!
