As to your other question, you would have to manually sent a comment to the person who already has sent in a comment.
You have send as permissions on this mail box so you can do this. Just go to the Options tab and click on the Show From button to make sure you are sending from this mailbox

What do the ones for open comment periods usually say? Maybe something like “This e-mail confirms that DEQ has received your comment. Thank you for your interest in the Oregon Clean Fuels Program.”

I have a rulemaking out on public comment now for the Oregon Clean Fuels Program. There is an inbox set up for comments (CleanFuelsAug2012). I seem to recall a discussion that the inbox should have been set up to send an automatic response (confirmation of receipt) to each comment received. Am I incorrect? That is not happening now…do I need to manually respond to each comment received?
