Subject: Supplemental Announcement for proposed Oregon Clean Fuels Program rulemaking
Dear Interested Parties,
I’m sorry for any potential cross-postings, but I wanted to make sure that you all received this notification.
DEQ has received a comment from the public that warrants consideration of revisions to the proposed rules. Specifically, representatives of liquefied petroleum gas (propane) suppliers and producers now indicate that they wish to have the ability to “opt-in” to the program, rather than being exempt from the program as initially proposed.
In response to the comment, DEQ now proposes to revise the rules to include liquefied petroleum gas as an opt-in fuel in the program. DEQ has posted revised rulemaking documents for your review on its Proposed Rules webpage.
