Subject: E-Cycles registration fees adopted

Dear advisory committee members and interested parties,

On June 21, the Environmental Quality Commission adopted rules revising the registration fees that electronics manufacturers pay to cover DEQ’s costs for administering Oregon E-Cycles. The rules became effective upon filing on June 26.

The new rules are included at the end of the staffreport DEQ submitted to the EQC.

Thank you for participating on and with the E-Cycles Registration Fee Advisory Group. We sincerely appreciate the time and effort you contributed. Your knowledge and expertise greatly informed our process and the Commission.

DEQ will soon be recruiting to fill our vacant E-Cycles position. We look forward to addressing additional E-Cycles program and policy issues with interested stakeholders once that person is onboard. We will send notices to our E-Cycles subscription list as we plan and schedule those meetings.
