Gary –

Comments on the proposed E-Cycles registration fees close today – and we have an extremely short turn around to consider/respond to comments, revise rules, draft EQC staff report.

Here are key deadlines:

· Brief Wendy on proposed rule changes, EQC staff report issues – 5/3 (Thursday, 9-10)

· Approve draft EQC staff report –including final proposed rules and comment responses- for DEQ’s Ex Mgmt team (EMT) – 5/9 [DOJ reviews again]

· Complete EMT review – 5/16

· Submit EQC staff report to OD – 5/18

Questions:

· Will you have time to work on revising draft rules next week and on 5/7 as needed to finalize?

· The project team is meeting on 5/1 from 1-3 to discuss comments received. Will you be available for questions during any of that meeting time if we have them? We would likely just call you if we do. We should have proposed changes in the rules following that meeting – but we will not have Wendy’s input until we brief her on 5/3.
