I want to ask DEQ to lessen focus on fish consumption and more on dealing with the issue of sediment with toxins attached, entering our water shed. There is a real ongoing need to address prevention and the lack of physical meaningful erosion control practices that contribute to contamination or mountain streams, lakes and rivers. With all the work being done on rule changes, I find it deeply troubling this agency eliminates matters dealing with sediment and toxins. Please understand from our perspective, Clean healthy water from our upper watersheds creates the streams which become the lakes and rivers from which we all try to live from. Please put more emphasis on controlling toxins attached to sediment and include in proposed rule change. Thank You. Frank Svejcar
