I strongly support the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality’s proposed rule changes to reduce toxic pollution in Oregon’s waterways.

You will receive any number of cogent arguments for and against these changes.

For me, it is simple: human beings must stop our continuous assault on the dynamic balance of the natural systems on which our existence depends.

In short: we must stop fouling our own nest.
