Subject: Human Health Toxic Pollutants Rulemaking

Importance: Normal

To Whom It May Concern:

I have read the Toxics Rule Making Proposed Revisions and fully

support them.

Water is the essence of life and its quality should be protected as a

vital resource. I believe that the proposed revisions will help

protect Oregon's water for future generations. It is extremely

important to reduce the amount of toxins in our water. It is a good

thing that DEQ is working to reduce the toxic pollutants from forestry

and agriculture as well as the other obvious industry polluters. Both

private forestry and agriculture land users use toxic chemicals that

should be kept out of our rivers, streams, lakes, drinking water, and

ocean. Hold them accountable. They should not be allowed to pollute

the public commons with cancer causing toxic pesticides, herbicides,

and chemical fertilizers. Clean water should be a birth right, not a

luxury!

Sincerely,

Andrew Black
