Many years ago I spent much time learning about drinking water quality when our city was considering the Willamette River as a drinking water source. What I discovered was there much we know, much we don't know and we don't have as many folks involved in caring about our rivers as we should.

We need to take care of our natural resources and we have done a poor job. Please improve our ability to control toxics in our water because it benefits everyone who drinks, eats fish and cares about our rivers.
