Hello,

I am the Secretary/Treasurer for our water district near Prospect,

Oregon - Evergreen Meadows Water Improvement District. I was very

relieved after reading the article in the Saturday, 9/11/10 issue of

Medford's Mail Tribune.

Our water district has only 34 lots that have water rights. We have

investigated water treatment systems since our level of arsenic has

risen above the acceptable level the last couple of years. Being

such a small district, we just can not afford such systems. We have

also looked at the possibility of obtaining a loan or grant and have

not been successful.

Thank you for your consideration to increase allowable levels,

especially in a rural area such as ours.
