Debra,
I would like to bring to your attention that we recently had testing done through NASA. We sent in several sample from commercial trash dumpsters from school, parks, restaurants ect.
With the help of NASA's engineers we now realize the dangerous chemicals being released into our environment from these commercial dumpsters.
Every commercial dumpster has a drain at the bottom to release liquid from the dumpsters. Reason why is because the extra weight on the trucks, also when they pack there load the liquid drips out of truck onto our streets.
Here is my point I believe that trash companies should be required to clean there equipment so many times per year to avoid the dangerous chemicals and the impact it has on the environment especial the water run off. Most of commercial dumpsters are near our storm drains allowing all that toxic water to be released into the drains and back into our waters.
Thank you for your time,
Sincerely,
Shelia Herrera
