Adoption allows DEQ to continue implementing the New Source Review/Prevention of Significant Deterioration Program. For certain sources subject to new air quality standards, the amendments allow DEQ to defer the requirement to submit an application or obtain an Air Contaminant Discharge Permit for up to twelve months.
