The CWSRF Intended Use Plan for State Fiscal Year 2010 was finalized today and is available on our web site at: http://www.deq.state.or.us/wq/loans/docs/IUP2010Final1009.pdf

The public comment period ended Tuesday, Oct. 13 and we received comments from 4 individuals representing the City of Dundee, City of Hermiston, Three Sisters Irrigation District, and Kennedy/Jenks (who is the consultant for Dundee and Hermiston). The response to comments is included in the IUP.

This IUP awards loans from the 2010 Special Reserve Fund that was recently established by temporary rules adopted at the August EQC meeting. We are able to fund nine new projects from this reserve including: Gresham, Oregon City, Klamath County School District, Gold Beach, Three Sisters Irrigation District, Sweet Home, Oak Lodge Sanitary District, Riddle, and Florence. It is great to see such needed funding be awarded to these projects! The amount in the special reserve (approx. $32 million) was larger than anticipated due to a significant loan prepayment that we received from a borrower in September.
